North America Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam is a 501(c)(3) registered general charitable organization and registered as North America Kamal Haasan Welfare Association (Tax ID: 88-2508438). We are a non-religious, secular and charitable organization. Our primary objective is to lead and engage in philanthropic activities and help the needy across the world specifically US, Canada and India.
What brings us together?
We are fans of one of the greatest actors that India has ever produced, Dr. Kamal Haasan. We are attracted towards his social welfare initiatives for the past 40+ years. Dr. Kamal Haasan was the first actor in world cinema that converted thousands of his fan clubs into a united welfare organization called “All India Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam”.
Our Mission
To seek and serve people in need with focus on basic education, hygiene and more with the help of our volunteers and donors.
Our Vision
Our vision is to bring together all like minded people who are interested in uplifting the poor, helping the needy and contributing to the progress and prosperity of each and every Tamil citizen.
Our primary focus areas include but not limited to the following:
Primary and secondary educational institutions that require infrastructure support
School and college students that need support for tuition and supplies
Patients that need monetary support for healthcare expenses
Handloom workers in Thamizhnadu that need monetary support to run their businesses
Farmers in Thamizhnadu that need basic infrastructure support to continue farming
Homeless people that lack basic needs such as food, shelter and clothes
People affected by natural disasters and lacking basic needs
